Volunteers sought to join Lowell Open Studios Committee

The Lowell Open Studios Committee is looking for volunteers to join the committee to help make this, the 10th annual Lowell Open Studios, the best yet!

We need volunteers to help with many facets of the event, both before and during the event. The dates for the open studios, this year, are Saturday and Sunday, September 25th and 26th. We need help in the following areas:

  • Graphic Design: Brochure, raffle card, display ads, post card, save-the-date card, banners, posters.       
  • Coordinate printing: cards, banners, brochures, posters.  
  • Coordinate distribution of print items.                              
  • Coordinate office supplies, postage.                              
  • Coordinate event photography.                                       
  • Produce marketing material: Radio ad copy, Print Media ad copy.                                                
  • Public Relations: Produce press releases.                        
  • Coordinate shuttle bus
  • Manage budget and coordinate bill payment with ALL Treasurer.
  • Maintain activity calendar and report scheduling problems
  • Coordinate artist/studio registration
  • Coordinate distribution of materials to participating artists

We would like to have five to eight committee members who will be able to spend the time necessary to make the event a success. The amount of time will vary, but you should anticipate attending meetings every two or three weeks, through the summer, then weekly as we near the event date in September, depending on which tasks you are working on. Some committee tasks will take more time than others.
